I need Sun behind the Volumetric Clouds.
Can’t find how to enable this layer…
This is lensflare occlusion, and I believe work is afoot to address this.
Hmm, thanks for the answer. So I’ll try to live without the lensflare for now, but the sun is invisible without it… LOL
Lights works, but there is no sun anymore… Will look later to find a problem.
I just want to make sun behind th eclouds and make sun visible on clear sky.
This is my problem that I face without lensflare.
Looks like 9 years issue. Directional light flare not visible - Unity Forum
So I created new HDRP project and imported my old files. Everything works now, and I won’t using lensflare anymore.
No, that’s a different lensflare system.
Hey, the most likely reason for not seeing the sun disk was that the type of sky in your Visual Environment (in your volume profile) was set to “HDRI” or “Gradient”. These 2 types do not render the procedural sun disk.
To get a procedural sun disk, you must use the Physically Based Sky type, in your Visual Environment.
Flares are a post effect that render on top of any sky types.
(BTW the hdrp template uses an HDRI sky, so it’s normal you won’t see the actual sun disk from the directional light. The template relies on a lens flare instead.)
