Need to activate unity on new machine, 2 user limit reached, no answer from support

The IT guys at my work gave me a new computer and formatted the old one. Now I can’t use Unity because it’s been installed two times. I mailed support on friday, but haven’t received an answer, could anyone help me with this? It’s pretty urgent.

Yes, I know. But it’s been installed on my work desktop and my work laptop that I can’t really do any serious work on. So the license is locked since it’s been activated twice already. I need to be able to use it on my workstation.

You’re probably not the first enjoying the advantages of Unity’s licence scheme.

If you want to stay legal then you’ll just have to wait or buy a second licence. :O)

That is just insane. If I’ve paid for it (well, my employer, but still) I shouldn’t have any trouble using it. What if the computer crashes or I just want to reinstall windows?

I’m in the middle of a project and have about 10 people breathing down my neck and I have to tell them that I’ll probably blow the deadline because I’m not allowed to use the software that I’ve paid for? Faaahhh… How does this benefit anyone??

Now could someone from the support PLEASE free up an install so that I can do my job?
