Neptune Flux - A Deep Sea Adventure Game

STORY

Neptune Flux is a deep sea adventure game that takes place in the future. You take on the role of an employee working for a dystopian corporation called AQUA, carrying out their oceanic operations. In the deep sea there’s no natural sunlight, so you’ll need to use tools on your vessel to see in the dark. Your dive pod is equipped with flood lights and flares, with more advanced upgrades available like visual sonar.

AQUA headquarters will give you missions to accomplish, but you’re also free to explore the open world and discover supernatural wreck sites, ancient artifacts, and lost treasure. As you carry out missions and explore the sea floor, you’ll advance through the main storyline, and learn about some of the dark secrets that lurk below.

Here’s a high resolution screenshot from a location featured in the trailer! Any guesses on what it might be?

This looks amazing! [:P] Reminds me strongly of the old Lego Atlantis theme [:P] Especially the giant squid [:P] It is a giant squid, isn’t it? [:P]

This looks like something special. Very nice trailer.
Visuals and aesthetics are very tight. Nice work.

Here are several more screenshots!

Neptune Flux is now live on Kickstarter!

To celebrate, I’d like to share an album of some of the development progress of the game over the course of 2014. During the time I was learning 3D modeling and texturing, so naturally, the artwork improves. If you have any questions, I’m happy to answer! Below are a few of the more interesting shots, but you can also check out the full album on imgur.

Again, if you want to check out more, here’s the full album.

If you have any questions, ask me anything! I’m happy to answer.
