New Apple Terms and Conditions - Build for iphone and ipad

Hi

Just reading through these latest T&Cs from Apple, they say that:
“2.10 iPhone apps must also run on iPad without modification, at iPhone resolution, and at 2X iPhone 3GS resolution”

Does that mean I now have to build in Unity to iPhone and iPad? I had planned on releasing 2 seperate apps so that my iPad version’s art was optimal for iPad viewing. Also my iPad version had an additional feature not found in iPhone.

So what am I mean to do now? Also, I don’t own an iPad, but is iPad now running on 4.1? Or do you have to deploy to 3.2 still for iPad?!

Ech all these constant changes give me headache.

No, you do not have to build for ipad. Try downloading a free app on the appstore on your ipad and run it. Then you will see what Apple means. Basically your app will show up very small on the ipads screen(and in the bottom corner there is a 2x button). Pressing this button scales up your game. Like fast app switching Apple takes care of all this for you, so that shouldn’t be a problem for you.
Edit: I misread your post, you don’t have an ipad so you can’t see what I mean, but the short answer is no, you don’t have to build for the ipad.
