New Asset Store design

I just stumbled onto a new Asset Store design. I think it looks good and feels better. What do you guys think?

In the releases section, you can click on the version number to go straight to those release notes. At first I thought it was going to allow us to download any version (past or present). I still hope that is an Asset Store feature in the future.

The asset description does not need “Show More” anymore. It just displays all the information. I like this.

There are left/right click arrows to scroll images. You can also use the arrow keys (keyboard). To go full screen, there is a full screen icon at the top right of the image. I would prefer to just click the image though.

Also the top bar (descriptions, package content, releases, reviews) scrolls down with the user if you go down far enough (see Asset Store Released Scrolled image).

Looks like they went live with this redesign. I like the frequently bought together and Might Also Like on the asset page now. Feel like that was missing from last design but maybe I just did not see it before.

Just checked and the changes are not live for me. Perhaps region locked or random A-B testing.

Overall, the screen shots look like they are cleaner than the current Asset Store design. I agree that not having to “Show More” to get the information I actually want about an asset is nice.

I’ll test to see if I can scan item fast when making decision, I was coming to term with the fact I wasn’t making me poorer that I already was lol, so I was feeling great about not liking it lol.

I don’t care about the store design at all when the actual asset store functionality in-engine is still a mess.
