New Editor Test Runner Modes

I see that finally we are not limited to one frame only tests, this is huge!

Now we have:

  1. EditMode Test
  2. Editor Test
  3. PlayMode Test MonoBehaviour
  4. PlayMode Test With Methods

Can anyone from QA explain all this modes? Documentation it’s not updated yet:

All my old tests are not appearing in the editor window.

Hi N3uRo!
Those templates are meant for the new test runner we are working on. It’s unfortunately not ready yet and they ended up in beta accidentally. Sorry for confusion.

Ok but it will be in 5.5? There is no info in roadmap.

It won’t be finished for 5.5 for sure.

I thought that it would be for a later beta version of 5.5… So we have to wait to 2017 at least…
