My question is when i download and learn unity… the free version will i be able to freely deploy my application/games on iphone and android mobiles i have? I mean i dont need to pay anything for these right?
You’ll be able to deploy with a watermark and only within the trial period. After that you won’t be able to deploy untill you buy the respectives licenses. And no, you can’t distribute commercially android/iphone trial deploys.
If you go to the store, you can see a comparison chart. To summarize distribution and publishing, it states the Unity (Indie, Free, whatever you wish to call it) can be used for Web, PC, and OSX distribution with a splash screen or watermark. For iOS and Android, you need the appropriate license for Unity for that platform to publish games.
