We have not tested these on mobile but it possible with a bit of optimization that a few of these could run well on mobile.

Hello. I have been following all of your Set-Builder assets (shame I haven’t won) and I was wondering what sort of place you are planning on making next. I would like a Japanese Set-Builder. I think that one based in Japan would be good because it is a place of ancient traditions and also the latest innovations, tranquil gardens and bustling cities. Things like temples and cherry blossoms and also skyscrapers and highways.

We have a 3 assets in the works at this moment in time 2 of witch should be released very soon

After these assets are done we will have a look into creating japan

I’m actually working on a historical Japanese asset pack, with accurate (non-toony) materials and measurements. I’ve got about 80 building components from dirt to rooftop, planning about 250 all told, and am putting together some prefab buildings that use and optimize these components for moderate village-sized settings. I don’t mean to hijack the Set Builder thread, as I think their assets are cool.

If TLC Indie is interested, there’s probably a great opportunity to make additional assets for a harmonious mix/match. Clearly TLC Indie has more experience setting up these packages because the demos I’ve seen look great.

That’s fine i’m glad you said something as we would not want to take someones asset idea if it is already in production,

i would love to see what you are working on because it sound very interesting

Just so you know we are working on a new asset
that we are also running a competition on on the following thread.

Time to visit the asset store

i can finally afford your new york asset

I bought the temple pack to get a feel for these, and it looks very nice. But I feel that it’s using a bit too many materials (one per object), so it definitely isn’t mobile-friendly, and not quite as optimised as many expect. I’m sure the items could be grouped together and share materials, especially for the walls and such

Temples was not made with mobile in mind but i think i can sort out an update to batch the assets and reduce drawcalls.

That would be great. A little material combining is all it needs, really

The update could take 3-4 weeks as we have a couple of assets in production but it will get done

No worries - I’ve got other people’s projects to work on first
