New Sample Assets requires 4.3.3?? Ugh

I just read that Unity is replacing the standard assets folder with newer examples, but it requires version 4.3.3 to download it off the asset store…

I’m still using 4.1.5 on a few projects due to compatibility of plugins that are still too buggy at 4.2+…

Why can’t you guys upload the assets with 4.1.5 so more people can use them? Or 4.2 at least if that’s the minimum to have mecanim?

You know that you can have more than one version of Unity installed at a time, right?
