Yeah, the subtitle of “The Real Slender Game”, just killed it for me. If you want to copy another game, fine, but don’t try to insult them and claim that you’re the “real” one, when you’re clearly just ripping off someone else’s idea.
I thought Parsec ripped off a old 8bit game as his inspiration for slender.
Yeah? And Angry Birds isn’t exactly original. But as soon as it became successful, EVERYONE wanted to clone it. It’s not to do with whose idea it was, it’s to do with riding on the waves of another’s success.
I do not approve using someone else’s successful game and adding “the real” prefix to cling from their hard earned success… but to be fair graphics look cool!

I don’t mind revamping existing ideas. The flash game market is full of little gems that could be re-invented a hundred times. Of course, you should always put a bit of yourself into the games, rather than just a straight clone.
And anyone who says “Yeah, well I was making MY Slenderman game before Slender came out.” is LYING.
Nice thing to throw in there. Ask anyone I know.
Hope this Slender/Horror game goes well. I’m not crazy about it, but eh.
If you can pull it off - and I think you have a chance, you have significantly more done than most other Slender clones I’ve seen on these forums - I hope you bring the Slender idea to its potential.
