1Poly is group of friends and graphic designers who believe in the growing development of mobile technology. We are determined to deliver stunning assets that You can use to design, craft and create your game.

Our first package is Forest themed so there is a lot of stuff like trees, stones, forest buildings, animals and people. All of them are created in polygonal/geometrical style. We added some 2D platforms so You can use theese assets for side scroller kind of game.
These assets don’t use textures at all. There are only materials. We added few textures for terrain so the scene you will create will remain consistent with theese stylized assets. There are also few particle systems and simple animations.

Is the polygon art “style” (removed normals) controlled via the materials?

Sorry - let me rephrase, is the polygon (unsmoothed) style - controlled via the material in Unity, or are the models exported from a modeling package with out any normal/smoothing information applied.

Just wondering how people are working in this art style, without experiencing an increased in overhead.
I’ve not worked with this style yet, but from what I’ve read - using that polygonal style doubles the vertex count number because each polygon is separate and doesn’t share adjoining edges/verts with the nearest polygons.

The way with separate faces… well it is kinda’ way to do this style, but I think it will be very time-consuming and as You mentioned - will double the vertex count and we don’t want it :slight_smile:

Easy way is to export with no smoothing information, but in my opinion a bit dangerous (I haven’t tested this, but I think that any smoothink information on model is better than none).
Another easy (and for me correct) way will be giving different smoothing information to adjacent faces (so that adjacent faces do not share same smoothing information). It may seem time-consuming but isn’t. For example in 3ds Max You selecting all faces and use auto-smooth for smooth groups by the angle of 0*. And than You have it :slight_smile:

Low Poly Destructible Cars

Package contains 17 models of vehicles with detachable roof, hood, doors, etc . Most of cars have additional bumpers and side panels, so You can adjust appearance of cars or upgrade them. Also You can find here 24 attachments and 4 wheels with 12 different textures of rims and tires. Wheels rim and tire size is controlled by game objects, so You can adjust them as You want.

Models are using diffuse textures (without normal maps), shared materials, textures and atlases, so they are mobile friendly and well optimized.

Our Photoscanned! - Texture Set pack is up!

We want to introduce You our first small package of photorealistic scanned PBR textures.
All textures are seamlessly tiled and thanks to 4k resolution You can scale them as You want! We included basic textures like AO, Height, Colour, Normal, Smoothness(Roughness) and MixMap that consists of channel-packed Height, Smoothness and AO so You can use one texture instead of three.
Additionally we added modified standard shader that allows to use displacement and blue channel of MixMap.
We are sure that thanks to way these maps are setted, You can use them through various of devices (because You can scale them from 4k, MixMap, etc.) and in various areas like gaming, VR or visualisation.
