I’m Meikura and I downloaded Unity for the first time yesterday and been toying with it since. Unfortunately, I can’t afford the Pro licence (poor 19 year old student), but I’m hoping to buy the indie one soon.
Anyway, I’m primarily a graphics man. I’ve dabbled in programming, but I prefer the more arty side. Here’s some work I did in Cinema 4D:
So here’s me hoping my skills will be transferable to my projects
It looks like a concept for an iphone with a real keyboard underneath the screen. A hinge mechanism like that would be hella expensive tho I should think.
Thanks guys!
Sorry, I should have mentioned: it’s a concept called the iPod slide.
I’ve been playing around with Unity for a few hours now, but I’m completely out of ideas at the moment!
I’m also finding the Indie licence a little restrictive too, but I’m sure I’ll find workarounds.
Well, my friend and I used to use Irrlicht as our graphical engine. This meant we had dynamic soft shadows and created some pretty nice render-to-texture effects.
Unfortunately, it seems we’ve got used to those luxuries
However, I’ve got to say, Unity blows Irrlicht away!
