New To unity

Hello every one ,I’m interesting in making 2d game,but after reading a few articles about unity ,I found I need to buy plugin to complete the job ,so what do you recommend to buy ,and also do I need to buy a GUI Plugin or that got fixed in unity 4.,what also do you think I Must buy from the asset store that will help me.

You don’t need a plug in at all. you can just use a plain with different UVs for your characters and lock them to 2 axis.

This completely depends on your experience with coding, if a bit, or even alittle you could write your own 2D way in unity.

Or just search the asset store, they are everywhere

but i want to use bitmap images.

I would recommend either Simple Sprite or Simple Sprite Pro.

They are easy to use and require very little coding. Perfect for a beginner.

I am a designer ,so i need to buy one ,so what do you recommend.

Can you give me list of all 2d plug ins , so i can check them out ?

There are quite a few, but here is a bit of a list.

Simple Sprite
Simple Sprite Pro
2D Toolkit
Sprite Manager 2
Orthello
SBK Sprite
Rage Spline
Rage Pixel

Those are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head.
