It was developed using the incredible Unity 3D engine.
Thanks to Petanque’s fabulous Unity 3D platform, you get fantastic angular views of the game during play, not to mention views of the stunning, authentic surroundings.
I really liked it! It seems rather well made, graphics look funny, gameplay works (the AI is much much too good for me though, heh. I always lost) and I encountered no bugs.
No I just played alone a couple of matches and I enjoyed it.
Camera is not moving as expected, not very smooth, it stops suddenly and stuff like this. Seems like little things but it adds to the game.
Also characters animations should be a bit more realistic. I don’t say they are crap, but they are good amatorial animations, they need more timing.
Finally, camera stops too suddenly after following a thrown ball.
There’s a script called CAMERA FOLLOW or similar in the wiki, if you use that and calibrate it you should already have a nicer effect of what you have now
Ah I see. Yeh, that was a design choice but I understand what you are getting at. I will have a look into it. If not for this game then for the next one.
