How do we get announcements of new webplayer versions? We have linked recent problems in our Facebook game with a new release but had no way to expect it. Took some digging to realize what was up. I checked the Announcements forum and there is nothing.
There is no announcement on them as they are not bound to unity versions and alike.
I think webplayer should work fine as long there are built using Unity 3.3. Not sure bout building on newer version of unity and running on older version of webplayer.
You can not use newer unity versions and build for older or more appropriate, the webplayer is not version bound. There are 2 engines in webplayer, U2 and U3, there is no 3.0, 3.1, … for the webplayer
