Newbie questions about version and obsolete tutorials

Hello,

I have been a little frustrated by obsolete tutorials and C# API’s that don’t work anymore.

  1. My installation icon says “Unity 2019.4.11f1 (64-bit)”

(I just downloaded that version yesterday, Sun 27 Sep 2020).

  1. Could you please post a link with tutorials that will work on the above version ?

That version came out yesterday, and tutorial updates lag significantly behind updates to Unity itself. Just install an older version the tutorial was written for. Using Unity Hub you can install as many versions of Unity as needed.
