Nexus 4 issues

hey guys, I just changed my lg-p999 to the new lg nexus 4 and I currently have 2 issues when I build my game…

the first one is unity dont recognize my phone
and the second one is the result I get its SUPER dark and everything seems broken… from the background color to the shaders…

thanks to let me know if any of you got these similar issues and/or found a solution to these problems!

thanks!!

the first one is unity dont recognize my phone
well - we poke adb for device list. Did you enable development?
and the second one is the result I get its SUPER dark and everything seems broken… from the background color to the shaders…
i didnt see it (i as running some stuff on nexus4 recently)
please bug report with small repro project

yes I did enabled the dev mode

and for question 2, yes I will bug report it thanks

if i was you… i would drop case number here. This way i can check your repro right away without qa going through bugs, finding it, reproing it and assigning to me

ok! how do I do that?
thanks

Are you on Windows? It has trouble with installing the driver for the Nexus 4.

Follow these steps:

  1. Uninstall the driver from Device Manager
  2. Let it automatically install the generic ‘MTP device driver’
  3. Right clicked on the new device and selected ‘Update Driver’
  4. Selected ‘Have Disk’ and pointed it to [android-sdk-dir]\extras\google
  5. Watch the ‘ADB’ driver install.
  6. Open CMD, run adb devices and confirm it’s worked!

oki, I try that tonight thanks! and Alexey, maybe I am just putting the wrong android settings when I build could you give me yours plz? thanks

yay!! it worked!! @staticnova, thanks buddy!
@Alexey I fixed my issue, it was simply cause I was building 32bit instead of 24 thanks for the support

I’m running Unity on Mac and this happens to me as well, SUPER dark and everything seems broken, from the background color to the shaders but not the GUI, do yo know why?

You can report about this bug at support site of Nexus 4, may be they can solve your issue.
