I would suggest that the plugin developers participate in the Black Friday, I think lower the price of products by 1 or 2 days would be a way to attract more people to know your work. I quoted the above plugins, because I already know their job, but I would extend that request to all plugin developers to Unity.
It’s not a bad idea, although it takes 1-3 days for updates to packages to be approved on the store and possibly the Unity staff are on vacation for Thanksgiving? Something like this would’ve had to have been planned a few days ago probably.
Spontaneous sales are rarely successful. They need to be organized weeks in advance, and advertised extensively in order to work well. Support from the Asset Store also goes a long way.
