I use Hub 3.0.0-b.5. Ufter updating Unity to 2021.2.0b16 I’m not available to make an android build.

Every time I try to install kit android tools - since 2021.1 it installs not correclty.
I solved it first by installing only the editor, then by installing the android packages one at a time, all with unity hub and the editor started with administrator rights
first by installing only the editor
Done. Android packeges installing with eroors, so it mounts empty folders.
then by installing the android packages one at a time
They’re not installing properly
all with unity hub and the editor started with administrator rights
Tried
Hi, I checked the properties, I also have running as compatibility mode for Windows 8, both for the hub and for the editor, I’m not sure it can be for that but it’s the only extra thing.,
I also have running as compatibility mode for Windows 8
I don’t use Windows 10.
Fixed by switching back to stable
Having the same issue, what do you mean by “switching back to stable”?
Linux Mint. Same issue.
Fixed by installing fresh version in default path, on main drive. (/home/username/)
Have no idea why and will it help others, just saying my observations.
On Ubuntu 25.10 there was the same problem with Unity 6000.2.10f1. Android module plugin seems to be not extracted correctly.
How to fix:
~/.local/unity* related files.Payload~ in AndroidPlayer foldercd ~/Unity/Hub/Editor/6000.2.10f1/Editor/Data/PlaybackEngines/AndroidPlayer
7z x ./Payload~
Yeah, it was hidden that file (./Payload~) and wasn’t having any information about it it is archive and to be decompressed and was thinking the Editor won’t play Engines on Linux and wasn’t appearing anywhere in documentation about any file (./Payload~) it is archive and to be decompressed, but then you came you progrand to save the hidden Linux Engines community and now it works named (./Payload~) topics and Windows people are folder Uncompress community topics, but the information source was contributing to Unity Discussions and thanks for (./Payload~) named guidelines topics…
@ days ago I almost lost my plot trying to solve this! where were you when i needed you?! Bastart!
thank you so much for this.
