No Antialiasing in 3.0 no matter what setting i try

Hi

I can’t seem to get Anti aliasing working (3.0 Pro)

  1. Quality is set to Fantastic for all devices.
  2. I have no Image based effects on any camera (well I do on a few cameras but I have de-ticked their active state and it makes no difference)
  3. The NVidia control panel settings are set to Application Controlled.
  4. Deferred Lighting, Static Batching and Dynamic Batching ticked.

My Fantastic settings are as follows:

Pixel Light Count: 4
Shadows: Hard and Soft
Shadow Resolution: High Resolution
Shadow Cascades: Four Cascades
Shadow Distance: 800
Blend Weigths: 4 Bones
Texture Quality: Full Res
Anisotropic Textures: Forced On
Anti Aliasing: 2X to 16X has no visible viewport effect at all
Soft Particles: Ticked
Sync to VBL: Ticked

Using a 1GB GeForce 9800 GT with latest NVidia driver on Windows 7, 64 Bit with dual monitor setup.

Any help please as it looks pretty terrible.

there is no aa with deferred at the time (until a corresponding shader is present. driver aa does not work with deferred, in no engine)

either you switch to forward if you want AA or you implement an own shader or work with the edge blur postfx thats offered to get basic aa alike behavior
