I’m running unity 5.3.0 on a 64 bit windows 7 machine and really all I’m trying to do is make a build for mac. I’ve made a pc build easily enough, but when i go into build settings to select the mac option it simply isn’t there.
I’m sure there’s something simple that I’ve overlooked, but did something change with the way builds are made? Is there a new plugin or architecture setting? surely I don’t need to own a mac to make a mac build… I’ve included a screenshot for clarification.
In the Unity 5.3, you have to select the mac build support manually at the time of installation. Then only you will be able to see that. By default that option will be un-check, and you have to select that option. Same in the case of many other options :
Does anyone know how to solve this problem for Unity 5.6? I’m not showing any Mac under Target Platform and can’t find the download assistant. Seems like the old way has changed and you have the “Open Download Page” for targets which aren’t yet installed.
