No OC in Unity Free yet I see the "Occlusion" checkbox in camera properties?

This is hopefully an easy question to answer, I know that OC isn’t included in unity free but I have the option in properties menu. Is this option simply not doing anything or does it let me use OC while developing but then it disables when I go to deploy?

It is included into unity free. Into unity 5 personal edition, to be precise.

No such thing as ‘Unity Free’ anymore.

Now you have ‘Unity Dark Skin’, and ‘Unity Splash Screen’
