No Respect for the Mute button

Ok so, my app dosen’t respect the mute button,
It does respect the volume buttons.
Any ideas why ?

A couple of things for me: if the ipod music is playing, mute doesn’t work. That’s fine, I have a ‘sound off’ option in-game.

The other thing that I thought might be relevant is that I tried the RC1 beta, and using that I both couldn’t get rob’s extension pack to enable ipod music, and the mute button wouldn’t work at any time.

Rob got back to me and said it should be working fine, so I might give it another go, but not now since it has hit 3am :slight_smile:

So for me I had mute button in 1.0.1, but not 1.0.2RC1 - are you using 1.0.1?

I was using some custom dev build, and now I’m using 1.0.2RC1, I don’t think it has anything to do with the enhancement pack though

I believe the lack of respect for the mute button was introduced in one of the “custom” builds, but I may be wrong (I could have sworn zombieville v1.0 respected the mute switch, but 1.1 does not, which was built with a beta).

I tried with both 1.0.2RC1 and 1.02RC2 and still absolutely zero respect for the mute button.

Try with 1.0.1 - I found I could just install back over and it was fine - and see if that works. Fixed it for me.

Sorry - not having access to the beta list makes it a bit hard, and since this build is available to non-beta testers (and I have no other way to discuss with other beta users) I figured this would be ok.
