I’ve just had a look for a reliable mobile shooting script it seems there isn’t one. I thought there would be plenty.
Can anyone suggest anything that simply adds shooting from an object deals with damage, ammo pickups?

Probably because such a script woudl be so basic, even for a mobile game. I’m not sure what woudl make a shooting script “mobile” actually. I woudl imagine mobile games and desktop or console games would have the same scripts for shooting.
Like Khyrid said, it’s pretty easy to modify an existing script for mobile.
Make said script and sell it on the asset store. Some people will buy.
Well, for mobile you wouldn’t want a lot of bullets being instantiated.
I would but it would be a mess I wouldn’t be sure it was the most effective solution, hence why I looked on the asset store to begin with.
There already a few weapon systems in the asset store.
