When I open Unity it's just gray emptiness, there is no standard gray mesh layout everyone else has. HELP.
Do you have the various panes, like "Project" "Hierarchy", "Inspector" etc? Is it just the Scene view which is plain grey?
If so, try selecting one of the objects in your current hierarchy (if there isn't one, create a new cube gameobject or something).
Once you have selected the object in the hierarchy pane, move the mouse over the scene view, and hit the F key. This should focus your view on that object.

An object will appear, but there is no layout, and I can't spawn. I was thinking it was something when I installed Unity, because i didnt install the island demo level, is that it? HELP?
Perhaps you need to toggle your grid.
