Lately our iOS builds have been failing with the following error:
No valid image found for BuildAttempt```
Yesterday May 15 2023, two iOS builds failed at ~4pm EEST and one finally worked at ~6pm EEST.
Today May 16 2023, two iOS builds failed at ~4pm EEST and it remains to be seen if one will eventually work later on today.
Would be lovely to get builds at ~4pm too ;)
Hi Alatalo and anyone else coming across this post on the Unity Forums.
We are currently aware of this issue and are investigating. I expect it to be resolved shortly. Essentially the Mac Builders do not seem to have Unity 2021.3.25f1 available despite it being selectable in the configuration, and, as you pointed out, available previously.
I will update this post when I have more information.
@leshem_unity , are you able to retry and let me know via ticket if the issue is persisting? In testing since your comment, it looks like it might have taken a bit for the changes to propagate but I’ve been able to trigger a few successful builds now with 2021.3.25.
Kind Regards,

Hi @leshem_unity , I’ve reached out on the ticket. We still seem to have a problem with one builder in particular, I will update this when it is fully resolved.
iOS build, building on MacOS with XCode 14.2. I tried a couple of times this morning and it gave the error associated with the thread. I tried again about 30 minutes ago (11:30am EST) and it looks like that build is building. Wondering if it may be a similar issue with one build machines acting up.
It looks like one of our data centers is missing this version of Unity. We are looking into where the failure occurred so we can get this populated. Attempting the build again should hopefully hit one of our other data centers where the version is available.
