Hi there,
I just met a problem when cleaning up materials for my project.
I used to have generate material “per texture” setting for my meshes so there’re quite a lot of obsolete materials piled up over time. Yesterday I cleaned them up by deleting more than half of the materials “I thought” is no longer needed.
But soon after that, one of the collaborators of the project found out some of his assets in the scene lost the material references. I know this could be avoided by more careful and clear workflow. But in my opinion a warning before any referenced assets is deleted should be very helpful.
Is this a feature I can enable somehow or Can I run some editor script to check out?
Any tips or instructions is appreciated ![]()
