No Way Out - PvP Action-Strategy Game on browser

Hi everyone,

No Way Out is an action-strategy game that rewards teamplay and quick reaction.

The rules are simple: in 15 minutes, the island will be nuked, 5 teams of 3 players have to fight their way out but only one team will escape!
The game is free and playable on browser. Beta Servers are open every Thursday at 7PM(EDT) / 4PM(PDT)

The world:
"Starting with the mighty United States themselves, the world’s governments are collapsing one after the other like blood-soaked dominoes. And like parasitic wasps hatching from their dying hosts, the corporations have fed on the corpses of nations, their power now rivaling history’s mightiest empires.
So we keep fighting. Not for God, not for justice, not even for a better world. We fight to survive. We fight for our masters who rule this world from their corporate city-states, where every corporate citizen is given a job, a home, and a personal business plan. The CEOs are the all-powerful feudal lords of the wasteland, the tie-wearing khans of a world gone mad."

About us: The game is developed by Vandal Games and published by DistrictWare. Both studios are based in Montreal, QC Canada. We are a team of 15 people, we are working on No Way Out for about a year.

You should write a novel lol

Beautiful character models and fx. The stylized look of the characters is very appealing.
The movement (not the animations) between characters seems a little “hitchy” less fluid than it seems it should be.
Kind of like how RTS characters move with path finding towards a point and are interupted half way through the movement.
I might not be explaining it very well - but Im sure other developers seeing this can explain better.
Nice work. Id like to play when ready for public release.
Is it going to be web player or webgl?

Visuals are appealing.

Looks very cool, I like the art style and the models really have a lot of character to them.

I agree with @theANMATOR2b , the movement itself doesn’t look as smooth as the rest of the animations. This may be just because of the nature of the genre, but maybe if there were some small turning animation or smoother turns that could help? It definitely feels like the characters in the game don’t have as much life to them as they do in the loadout screen because of this. It feels like they could be saying “At your command, my lord” or something along those lines. But I don’t think it is terrible as is now, but it is something to look into at the least.

Other than that, it looks great. Seem like a fun action/strategy game and it looks like it has a lot of depth. Will try it out when the public release is available.

Hi, thank you for your feedback!
Characters’ movement is definitely something we’re going to look at, it’s not the first time someone mention it.

The game is on web player, we want to port it to HTML5 asap in order to be compatible with Chrome
We open our beta servers every Thursday @ 7PM (EDT), everyone is welcome!
