I’m Yughues (aka nobiax aka Hugues).
I’m an environmental artist (amateur). I do models textures since 2008. All I learned about it came/comes from Internet video games. I started by making free assets for fun training, then I started making commissions.
I hope that one day I will work on some beautiful/lovely games (indie or not).
I finally decided to go on the Unity assetstore to share with you my free assets, the old- and the new-ones but also to give you some exclusive assets. =)
Some of you already downloaded a lot of my free assets but I’m not gonna put all of them right here now (way too much), but I’ll post the nexts.

I did my first custom shader for the big pile of golds. It’s a Transparent/Cutout/Reflective/Bumped_Specular shader. I just added the transparent feature to the existing reflective shader. Nothing fancy, but it was really interesting to work on. =)

5 Flowers, 40 Bushes, 54 Grasses, 275 Tiny Weeds 23 other various plants.
A lot of foliages plants, from grass to bushes to help you to create nice, natural lively environments.
Some textures have been slightly reworked, especially some normal maps. A good part of the work has been made on the vertex normals (same as tangents), to make them look better under lights (fake translucency, self-shadows).
Your first post included pictures, and it’s pretty compelling. And clicking through to your latest asset, it’s really pretty! I can’t help but feel you’d get more response if you included pictures of each asset in the posts here that go with them.
I’d like to but the pictures from the asset’s galleries don’t show here. =(
I don’t know why. The image insertion/attachement work quite oddly.
They always show links but never the actual images.

and as far as the images in the thread are concerned: i know this problem very well. so usually i upload my images to google drive, use http://gdurl.com/ to shorten the url and insert them using “from url” (uncheck “retrieve…”).
One suggestion if I may. A pack of trees and other nature environment having same version of tree/plant but different textures/materials for all four seasons. However only making sense if those can be changed while in game mode and I have not yet tried so just ignore if not making sense. ^^ Also different broken and cut down trees would be interesting.

The plants can use the “Nature/Tree Creator Leaves” shader for better animation (WindZone) but the standard “Transparent/Cutout/Bumped diffuse” shader is better for lighting (used by default).
