Node based Material-Graph

hi,
over the last days, i implemented an idea of mine to connect materials and let them inheritance properties from other materials. in scenes with many identical objects, its a pain to change each shader of each object only because they have
different textures. woud it be nice to have a system, that for e.g. sets all the different textures and
copies all other properties from a parentmaterial?
