None of the terrain painting/sculpting tools are working!!

There is no longer a brush …its just a square that can get bigger and smaller… each setting I click on its still a square… even for painting…

Current Unity version: 5.1.2f1 Personal

I tried completely un-installing Unity…then re-installing Unity
I also tried rolling back a few times to Unity 5.0.0
I also tried a fresh project…nothing in it at all default

I’ve had it happen too. Not sure if it’s still that way on my setup though because I haven’t touched terrains in awhile.

I have terrain generation tools…but I wanted to edit the generated terrain a little…and then ran into this issue…

No one? …no dev response either?..wtf… my progress is being halted because this issue isn’t going away…and I cant find a fix for it…
