I’ve been looking around the forum and it seems to be the case that Unity and iPhone Unity are two separate programs that install side by side, yet when I run the installer for iPhone Unity it tells me that my Mac contains software that is newer and installing this software will replace it. I’ve never installed iPhone Unity before so I guess it can only be referring to Unity?! I got hold of Unity primarily for iPhone development but I still want the full desktop version intact – what will this installer overwrite exactly?
Also, while I’m typing, would it be remotely practical to write a 2D game using the GUI for rendering? And is Unity Remote mandatory or optional?
