I was under the impression that when an object is marked as static, it wont contribute to realtime lighting?
I’m finding in my stats window that I have hundreds of shadow casters in my scene and it appears that it is my static objects that are causing this. Obviously my assumptions are wrong regarding the lighting and static objects.
I’m currently using mixed lighting. My goal is to have the shadows from static objects baked and then a realtime directional light for my single moving object.
Should I be using 2 directional lights? 1 baked and 1 realtime?
