normal map not working

Hi,

I tested a normal map on model in a fresh project using the bumped diffuse shader, worked well! Then I put it in the island demo to see it in a real scene but now the normal map doesn´t have any effect (both in scene and game view)! Is some optimization code or so disabling the bump mapping in the island demo? Or anyone any idea why it doesn´t work in the island demo?

A normal-map needs a pixel-light to work. Is your new scene lit by a pixel light?

Also the island demo uses dynamic quality settings to keep the frame rates. That could it be too, but i dont know exactly. (As far as i know it only applies to the terrain setting, but i may be wrong on that).

Thanks Alpha-Loop, turned out that the render mode of the directional sun light was set to ´Force Vertex´!
