Not 'a bug', but the new Hub, as well as the latest beta won't install

(0) The v2020.1.0b5 would not create a New Project and just aborted during unpacking/setup?

(1) Tried installing the new beta v2020.1.0b6 from hub v2.3.0 > doesn’t start installation
(2) Hub says a new version is available (v2.3.1) > tried Restart Now > won’t auto install
(3) Tried manually by downloading a new Unity Hub installer from the Unity website > tried installing > get an error message and wont install the new hub
(+) Same error message also pops up after a while of inactivity on Unity Hub (v2.3.0)

Looks like there are multiple issues.

Could you please submit a bug report for the Hub installation issue via the Hub bug reporter?

Also, could you please check whether your project path doesn’t exceed a length of 75 characters? There’s a known issue that causes problems with longer paths.

Hey there, i will next time. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. By the way somehow it seems to work now, installing as i type this? So my guess is it’s Microsoft W10 messing things up again with halfbaked unwanted forced updates and unsollicited system shutdows! (as there have been a lot of those in the past weeks!!!) As soon as i’m able i will migrate to Mac, this is so frustrating. So sorry for wasting your time.
