Not activated in Asset Store??

Greetings!

Upon trying to downloading anything in the Asset Store, it prompts me with this irritating screen below:

It logs me into the store just fine but gives error upon downloading. I had it send me another activation and went through the process again and it tells me that I’m already activated. I think something is hosed on a grand level here. Any help would be great!

you got a mail when you registered with an activation link you must follow.

I went through the process twice already. I just tried the confirmation email and got this yet again. I’m logged into the store just fine, I just can’t download anything apparently. I’m logged in here and in the Asset Store with the same name and email registered, but the activation process is the problem.

Also, I’m still trying to actually download the current version directly from your site, but it won’t allow me to download it. Below is an older thread I posted in with no response and I picked up a direct link from Linux in that thread some time ago. Upon clicking on the Download button on your page, it simply refreshes the page without sending the file.

According to other users in that post, I’m not the only one having difficulty with this issue and these seem to be related somehow.

A direct link to the current version would be appreciated because it seems the version I am using has some issues with activations.

Update: I ended up creating a new account for the store and that seemed to work. I never check that email account, so don’t send me anything important. :slight_smile: All I need is a direct link to the new version of Unity and I’m playing ball with everyone else.

hi i do have problem to activate my account i try get my activation for e-mail but doesn’t work

@dragonstar: I’ve activated your account manually so you should be up and running now. If anyone else has not received a confirmation e-mail for the asset store (after a reasonable wait :wink: then please send me a PM.
