Not sure why Unity is crashing and using all of systems resources?

Hi guys,

Please excuse the vagueness of the question… But whenever I start unity 5, it seems to be using all of my system resources.

This is what it looks like on my task bar so I assume it’s trying to load something?


And then when I close the editor, it crashes. Is there a way to debug this to try and figure out what’s going on?

it may be a problem with the project. Hold ALT (from what i recall) when you start loading unity and it will not attempt to load the project and wlll take you to the project manager screen.

as for debugging, try removing the last asset you imported before it happened. it usually helps with me
