I suggest using google, Ive never been able to use the forum search successfully.
something like
site:unity3d.com search words here
works really well
I haven’t had much real success with the forum search either. It ends up giving me anything with one of the words in any one of the many posts, so I get a large percentage of the entire forum in my results. Google is much better.
