When I set a thread to “Tracking”, I will get a list of notifications whenever someone does the following:
- Adds a new comment to one of my replies
- Someone @ me in anywhere in the thread (comment or reply)
- Quotes part of my reply in a new reply
- My reply is marked as the solution.
This is helpful to keep track of updates to topics I am tracking because it will simply show up in a list in the top-right corner (similar to Alerts in the old forums).
However, if someone makes a new reply to a thread I am tracking, this does not trigger a notification. Instead it just puts a number next to the thread.
In order to find these updates I have to scroll through all of the topics looking for this number. This is inconvenient and can often lead to missing followup questions from the original poster.
Is there any way to get notifications for new replies just like the other conditions that cause notifications?
