Tutorial video(update version that is being submitted to the store): HERE
It allows scripts to be run at certain points, which is useful for adding missions or opening stores.
Also has public variables that can be useful for checking when animations should be done.
Kind of inspired by the fallout system.
Ignore how ugly it looks. That is purely because of my lack of GUI Texturing skill.
If I find interest I will make it even more customizable.
If I get maybe a little bit more interest I may post it. I will need to make it more user friendly and of course document it. So I want to make sure it has some interest
i would be interested but i am not really a programmer, still would love to fiddle around with it and maybe implement it later in a project i have in my head
It could be interesting. I presume rather than teiggering text dialog, the system could trigger audio dialog instead? Its a silly question given that the system can trigger scripts, I just want to be sure there isnt some odd quirk that would complicate this.
@blurededge
I haven’t implemented Audio Dialog yet, but that is a very interesting idea. I think I will look into implementing it before releasing the final product. But if for some reason I don’t get to it in the first release, it would be easy enough to make a simple script which triggered an Audio Source.
this is pretty cool… i would interested i buying this as well as long as it is userfriendly, and there is a video actually showing us how to use it before we buy it… = )
