Since the project has changed his name I will use the freedom to edit the opening topic.
The project did go under the name : OBCity Project (Official Beginner City)
Since Yesterday (27-12-2012) the project is renamed and will be called Project Ion from now on.
The project is greatly evolved since last year and we are hosting a playable version for the community.
Just a friendly note, from developer to developer…you might want to change the name of your project. More specifically, in the video you have on your main page. It says “Welcome to Obesity City”. You’re first language isn’t English, I assume, so it’s forgivable. Anyway, this is the definition of Obesity in English: Obesity - Wikipedia. Also, definition of your project name: Urban Dictionary: OB City. Yeah. You might want to change that Unless of course, you intentionally named it like that for some reason…

Last year the name of the project was still pretty undefined but the developers decided to call it OBCity that references to Obesity.
In the start of this announcment i maked the video and fan-based website without realizing the name was OBCity instead of Obesity.
The project is indeed progressing quite quickly, as when i compair the late 2011 demo with the now days present version.
OBCity will continue to stay under constant development and i expect some nice new features and eye-candy to come very soon.
On the moment a Hall Of Fame is created and new creatures are on their way. I will post screens as soon they are in the next update.
New features are different maturity levels for creatures as well the birth of a new creature.
There is also a Hall of Fame list so you can keep track of eachothers score/loot ammounts.

Me nor the developers would deny they have roots in the game Project Entropia know today as Entropia Universe.
As with every game you have similarity in dynamics and graphics.
I can reasure you the developers will not make a clone of any game but they will combine sevral dynamics from many games.
The point is that the developers are game fanatics that maked the step of desinging and building their own game after all experiance as a dedicated gamer in many different games.
A lot of unity users will find them in this description I think.
If you will try out the game and become a part of it you will find out yourself this is not a clone of any project.
played PE for several years and it was fun ( the change to CE2 killed the feeling of the “game” for me).
would love to try it, but i don’t have much free time at the moment and it seems that at least the next 2-3 years it won’t be better
The recycle terminal is working and a lot of improvements on the coding itself has been done again.
Upcomming update will hold a lot of new recources collected trough recycling items.
With that said the inventory is expanded with sevral new slots.
As rain and cold keep us players and developers inside a lot of work is done and will be done in these last weeks of the year.
Last work is done so everyone can download the VU 4.8 somewhere around monday.
The developers have launched a new update with some neat features Implemented.

Item detail window can be opened from more locations (ie: loot window)
To chat or trade with another player enter cursor mode and right click the player to open the new menu.
From here you can choose to send a request for private chat and/or trade.
