Object dissapearing, but renderer shows true

I got an object following another object, but a few seconds after moving the object dissapears from screen, the mesh renderer doesn't change so that's not the problem, and in scene window you can still see the object.. anyone know what the problem is??

Is it in the camera frustum? (as in, is it not in front of the near-clipping plane?).

Is it on the same layer as the camera?
