Object To Start Off Inactive In Toggle

Hey! I’m making a little heads up display (HUD) in my game that is basically visible once the ‘e’ key is pressed. The code is working great but I’m not sure how to make the object inactive at the start but can still be toggled.

Here’s the code:
var HUD : GameObject;

function Update() {
 if (Input.GetKeyDown(KeyCode.E)) {
  HUD.active = !HUD.active;
 }
}

You can declare a Start() function that initializes that variable to false. Start is called once, before the Update function begins running every frame. Something like:

function Start() {
  HUD.active = false;
}
