Hello again. Today I’m having this really strange anomaly happening in my unity project. Here’s the problem.
I have a ship that flies around and picks up a ring. Once you have the ring, you hold it until you click your mouse. It then fires in the direction of the mouse. When it hits an edge it collides and bounces off. You can go pick it back up. The code for doing it is this:
Code removed.
I have two collider objects, the ship and the ring. (The walls collide as well). Once you fire the ring, it ignores collisions with the ship until it gets a certain distance away (at that point it can be picked up again).
The PROBLEM
Everything works PERFECT. BUT when you pick the ring back up, and fire again, it goes right through all the walls! Completely ignoring collisions.
What am I doing wrong? Is this a bug from using IgnoreCollision? I’m so confused, and this is really crippling my progress ![]()
Any help would be much appreciated ![]()
