Occlusion culling showing too many objects

I’ve got this neighborhood with about 60 houses. I’ve set up OC and tried several different values of the parametres of the OC (occluding objects between 0.5-2m and holes from 0.2-1m). But I still see way too many house (in the visualisation in the editor) being turned on.
So for example (see image), if I’m standing at the bottom center of the map (at the intersection) and look “up” I see all the houses in the top-right corner in the visualisation being turned on! I’m 100% sure this should not happen! The houses are all separate objects (static and occludees and occluders) so should be able to turn on-off one-by-one ( this is what I see what I slowly turn the camera - so that’s as it should be).

Anyone any idea how to tweak this so less objects are being turned on?

Thanks!

Marco

Can you show a picture of what its looks like if the visualization is on and you have the camera you using selected?

Please see new image. The OC settings are: smallest occluder = 3m, smallest hole 0.5m, backface 50.
As you can see the furthest 2 to 3 rows of houses from the camera are not visible from the camera. The camera is just in front of a house, looking through the windows. Sure it’s possible that a lightray actually manages to pass through all the windows of all the houses. But they do not add anything valuable to the scene so it would be better if the were ignored from this point of view.
