Occlusion Culling Video not displaying properly

For me, the Occlusion Culling Video not displaying on Snow Leopard using either Safari or Firefox. I find that the popup window does not show the entire screen nor a scroll bar and there are no controls. The video plays intermittently and arbitrarily restarts itself back to the beginning, and with no bar or controls, it’s hard to say exactly what is going on. In the safari version, it tries to display the video below the popup window (as in down on the y axis) and most of the video is off screen no matter how I position the window.

Just an FYI to UT.

Thanks for the heads up, I submitted a bug report.

 Thanks.

Is that (web site issues) something I should submit through the Bug Report Application? It didn’t seem like an issue worth occupying the time of the application developers.

Yes, issues with the web site can be reported using the app. It gets routed by our QA/Support team to the proper person. In this case I could just assign it directly to our web developer so that was faster than asking you to submit a bug

Thanks again.

This is still not working. I’ve submitted a bug report through the bug app, but I’ve tried every mac I’ve go, OSX 10.5 10.6, Firefox, Opera, Safari… none work.

Has anyone gotten this to display properly?

I’ve heard some people have issues with the quicktime videos if their version of quicktime is not up to date. I’m on windows, works fine.

Interesting thought…

Now that I’ve looked:

I’m using 10.0 (113) on Snow Leopard for my main machine. Software update says I’m all cool and up to date.

The apple site (Download QuickTime 7.7.9 for Windows - Apple Support) seems to only offer 7.6.6 for Leopard and does not mention any downloads for 10.6.x Snow Leopard.

Looking at http://www.apple.com/quicktime/player/specs.html is seems to indicate that QT v7.x is not recommended for OSX v10.6, or at least it doesn’t mention it:

QuickTime 7 System Requirements
(Macintosh)
Mac OS X v10.5 through v10.5.8

And Manuals, Specs, and Downloads - Apple Support doesn’t seem to have anything relevant.

Skuppered?

Any mac users out there that can get the video to work?
