Oculus Island - My final year uni project.

So i’ve recently finished up my final year of university studying games programming. My honours project looked at differences in levels of immersion when playing the same game on an Oculus Rift compared to desktop. To test that I had to actually make an immersive experience for people to play.

This is the little demo I developed for testing. Its essentially a little prototype game that is used to invoke certain feelings or responses from the person playing. Take a look and see what you think.

Also, if anyone was interested in the results of the project id be happy to give some information on that.

That’s amazing! Not sure why there is fog in an underground mine though :stuck_out_tongue: I can’t seem to see any water sources nearby xD

1:05 and 1:40. Two at 1:40 but it’s tough to say. 1:50 if you count rain too but that wasn’t underground.

Yup, there are two water sources in the underground mine area. 3 if you want to count the waterfall on the way out.
