Hello there! Are there official discussion threads regarding the Microgames?
Hi, @FriederL!
After searching through the Official-tagged threads, I noticed that we didn’t have Microgame discussion threads. The closest types of tutorials that we have threads for are the Game Kits, which you can find here -
The Microgames are no longer supported by our Learn team BUT if you’d like to start a discussion thread about the ones you’re using, please feel free to!
Hope that’s helpful!
Editing bc of @AuroreUnity’s reply below! Stay tuned, I’ll spin up a Discussion thread about Microgames soon, @FriederL!
Best!

A quick correction on this post, there are two Microgames that are currently still supported; Platformer & FPS. However the old Mods for these are no longer supported.
You can find these in the Learning Templates tab when you start a new Project from the Hub.
Hi @UnityLearnCM_Kirk and @AuroreUnity !
Thanks for replying! It was already really helpful for me. I’ll definitly take a look at the upcoming official discussion threads, and I’m also gonna take a deeper look at those newer Creator Kits. Thanks for giving me an overview on that!
Finally I need to mention that my favourite microgame is always been the Karting microgame. I like playing other arcade-like racing games like Mario Kart, Trackmania or Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. And since that time I always wanted to know the technique behind these opponents controlled by algorithms or even AI. How do they master all the different tasks at once? (such as following the track, avoiding collisions with other cars and even other obstacles)
Finally I recently came across the official Kart AI training video on YouTube and tried to follow the steps until I noticed that the explicitly mentioned “KartAcademy” script is missing. And there’s a whole thread of Kart players searching for this…
Is there a way to get it afterwards or a different way to start the ML training?
Is there any supported sequel containing racing game stuff?
And is there an official thread for the ML Agents package?
