Offline Activation of Unity 5.x

I’m upgrading our build machines to Unity 5.x and I can’t get past the Signing into your Unity Account page. What are the steps to activate Unity (5.1.1.f1 as of this posting) on a machine without internet access?

The build machines are Win7 64bit VMs running under Microsoft Hyper-V environment.

Edit: I found a page on manual activation (Unity - Manual: Manual license activation) but the document doesn’t match what is happening. i.e. no mention of having to go through the “Signing into your Unity Account” page when running Unity for the first time.

Thank you.

Klip_ko. I’m also facing the same problem. I purchased Unity Pro and I’ve not been able to activate my licence.

Solution after contacting support is to disconnect from the internet. What worked for me was to disconnect the VM from the virtual switch. This makes Unity display the manual activation page. I was able to update a couple of our build agents this way.

Would much rather have a command line argument to use instead of messing around with guest VM settings. Also I don’t recall “disconnecting” being documented for manual activation. That should be addressed.
