This asset allows you to move around the map, approach a selected point, for example, a city that interests you. You can do it absolutely offline because all geographic data is inside of the asset.

You can customize the whole map view with simple user interface:

  • change the color of water, ground, country borders, regional borders;
  • change the size of country names and city names;
  • switch off or switch on the display of country names, city and state names, ocean, sea and lake names, country borders, regional borders;
  • change the style;
  • change the language of country names and city names.

All data is stored as “.pbf” files (map tiles) in the local database (“.mbtiles” file). The local database contains 8 zoom levels with 87380 tiles inside**.**
Each level of zoom contains (2^zoom) * (2^zoom) number of tiles (pbf files):
1 level - 4 tiles (pbf files);
2 level - 16 tiles (pbf files);
3 level - 64 tiles (pbf files);
4 level - 256 tiles (pbf files);
5 level - 1024 tiles (pbf files);
6 level - 4096 tiles (pbf files);
7 level - 16384 tiles (pbf files);
8 level - 65536 tiles (pbf files);
